Our Whale Watching Vessels

Spirit of Migaloo II is a locally designed and built whale watching vessel with three levels of viewing spaces, indoor seating and open decks. A licensed bar offers snacks and drinks. The Captain's Lounge provides a separate seating experience on the mid deck.

Wheelchair access is available on the lower deck only, with one designated space. Upper levels are reached by stairs. Read the detailed access guide for ramp dimensions, restroom facilities and boarding arrangements.

Commentary helps guests follow the wildlife encounter. Whale song may be played through the hydrophone when conditions and whale behaviour allow.

Kaiala is a purpose-built, two-level whale watching vessel designed and built locally. Its low position on the water gives guests views through large viewing openings on the lower deck, while the upper deck offers open views of the ocean and skyline.

A licensed bar, toilets and seating are available onboard. The lower deck has limited wheelchair space, and the upper deck and bow involve steps. Guests with mobility needs should call Guest Services before booking and read the vessel-specific access guide.
